After a years of recording music and designing art individually, I have chosen to take it upon myself to recruit a group of friends with a mutual interest in furthering not only our accomplishments as Saskatoon-based musicians, but also as musicians interested in helping fellow musicians. This collective, Basementree, will aim at aiding musicians with recording as well as with post-production and promotional practices. This will be a slow process at first, but once people being to jump on board, I envision not only our label personnel increasing in number and efficiency, but also an increase in the number of local artists looking to work with us.
