Basementree is a recording and promotional design collective operating out of Saskatoon, SK. We specialize in 8-track recording and post-production, custom album art design, as well as custom promotional artwork design (namely, concert posters). In addition to our production and promotional work with local artists based in Saskatoon, we also conduct album reviews. Poler Bear




Saskatoon's minimalist/Shoegaze recording artist Poler Bear (Josh Robinson) has released four eps under the Basementree label:  September 2009's double-disc debut, Poler Bear/Shadows Swept Over Our Hills and Filled Our Hallways, February 2010's Se Denouer, as well as June 2010's So Long, Lonesome.  In addition to currently recording a fifth album, talks regarding an inaugural live performance are underway.
